Dell Inspiron Mini 10 at CES 2009

Last week I walked all over hell and back (otherwise known as the Las Vegas Convention Center) and somehow managed to completely miss Dell's booth at CES (which is presumably because they had no booth and were in a hotel somewhere like CES 2008). Laptop found the booth though and offers up some tidbits on the new 10-inch Dell Inspiron Mini 10.

This is the netbook Dell should have offered between its first netbook and the Mini 12. A 10-inch netbook is definitely the sweet spot for most consumers with enough screen space and keyboards capable of real work.

Laptop says that the Mini 10 offers a screen resolution of 1024 x 600, HDMI Out, three USB ports and more. The keyboard has correctly placed and nicely sized shift keys along with a row of function keys as well. The processor is the 1.6GHz Atom Z530 and the device runs Windows XP with 1GB of RAM. Some interesting features available on the machine include GPS, mobile broadband and a TV tuner.
